Leo Maslíah was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1954. In 1978 he began his intense career as a composer and performer of music, fusing popular, classical and jazz. ![]() The production of 'Eslabones' clearly shows Leo's brilliance as a musician and composer, taking you through a wonderful maze of melody, harmony and rhythm. As an instrumentalist his piano playing is full of complexities, though he's able to mold the intricacies of what he creates into a sound that is original, easily digestible and simply charming, an exquisite piece of work. | ||||
